About the position

As the world's leading vendor of Cyber Security, Check Point Software Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team in Newark, NJ. This role is pivotal in helping to grow our business by researching, engaging, and driving potential leads into the sales funnel. The SDR will report directly to the Director of Business Development Representatives and will work closely with our Sales Executive teams to enhance our pipeline of business opportunities. This position is hybrid, requiring three to four days in the office each week, allowing for a blend of collaborative in-person work and remote flexibility. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high level of fluency in our product functionality, enabling you to demonstrate features and functions in an engaging manner to both technical and business audiences. You will research new and existing markets to create a robust pipeline of potential leads, understanding complex organizations and reaching out to the right contacts through outbound calls, emails, and social media. Additionally, you will book product demonstrations for our Sales Executive team and nurture relationships with potential customers, ensuring you stay up-to-date with our product offerings. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, responsible for their own workflow, and driven to reach their targets. Responsibilities

  • Research new and existing markets to create a pipeline of potential leads

Requirements

  • 1+ year experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR)
  • Technological mindset to engage in discussions with IT managers and senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience meeting and exceeding quotas and accurately forecasting business
  • Track record of collaborating and demonstrated success in sales organizations
  • Target driven with a positive personality
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create value
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
