About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Makersite GmbH is responsible for generating new sales opportunities and nurturing prospects to support the sales team. This role involves understanding the company's SaaS product, engaging with potential customers, and facilitating meetings with senior sales professionals. The SDR will play a crucial role in driving growth by identifying and qualifying leads in the US market, contributing to the company's mission of promoting sustainability through data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the company's SaaS product and its benefits to customers.
  • Engage in conversations with stakeholders to explain how the solutions exceed expectations.
  • Nurture relationships with prospects and guide them through the sales process.
  • Prospect for new sales opportunities using HubSpot, cold calling, and emails.
  • Set up video calls between prospects and Senior Account Executives or Presales experts.
  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to the team leader.
  • Identify best practices to refine the company's lead nurturing playbook.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience as a software Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR).
  • Proven experience in securing meetings with director-level stakeholders in large companies.
  • Excellent prospecting skills and confidence in collaborating with senior marketing and sales professionals.
  • High level of creativity and proactivity in daily work.
  • Fluency in English.
