About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Betty Blocks focuses on generating and qualifying leads for the company's application development platform. The SDR will engage with potential customers through various channels, analyze market opportunities, and collaborate closely with Account Executives and the Marketing team to drive lead generation campaigns. This position is crucial in the early stages of the sales process, where building relationships and understanding customer needs are key to moving prospects through the sales funnel.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads interested in the Betty Blocks platform.
  • Conduct desk research to analyze different markets and develop lead generation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule meetings and presentations with prospects.
  • Engage with potential customers via phone, LinkedIn, and email to understand their needs.
  • Schedule follow-up meetings, including presentations, demos, or workshops, to further engage prospects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects throughout the sales cycle.

Requirements

  • 1 year or more of sales experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to overcome obstacles and adapt to various customer needs.
  • Curious nature with a willingness to take on challenges.
