About the position

At Instagrid, we are on a mission to establish ourselves as a leading brand in clean portable power solutions. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in this journey by being the first point of contact for potential customers. Your primary responsibility will be to work on the early stages of the sales pipeline, focusing on researching, qualifying, and strategizing approaches for potential B2B leads. You will be instrumental in creating an outstanding first experience for prospects, utilizing your creativity to digitally reach new customers. After qualifying leads through discovery calls, you will hand them over to the Sales Manager USA for further engagement, ultimately driving towards sales goals. In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from the global marketing team, the local Instagrid USA team, and other key departments. Your responsibilities will include filling the top of the sales funnel by prospecting and qualifying new customers, gathering well-researched information about potential clients and their industry-specific needs, and conducting value-adding conversations to identify the best products and approaches for them. You will also handle inbound leads, perform outreach via phone, email, or social media, and prepare large accounts for meetings with Key Account Managers while independently closing smaller accounts. Continuous improvement will be a key focus in your role, as you will refine sales scripts to qualify and convert leads, leveraging our digital toolchain, including conversation intelligence tools and CRM systems, to analyze and enhance your performance.

Responsibilities

  • Fill the top of the sales funnel by prospecting and qualifying new customers.
  • Gather well-researched information on potential customers and their industry-specific needs.
  • Conduct convincing and value-adding conversations with new customers to identify suitable products and approaches.
  • Work on inbound leads and perform outreach via phone, mail, or social media to introduce Instagrid products.
  • Prepare large accounts for meetings with Key Account Managers and close smaller accounts independently.
  • Continuously improve sales scripts to qualify and convert leads using digital tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' hands-on B2B selling experience.
  • Experience with start-up operations is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success with tele-sales prospecting techniques such as cold calling, cold emailing, and social media outreach.
  • Good understanding of sales metrics and experience with data-driven digital tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members to develop winning strategies.
  • Proven track record of a friendly and engaging personality.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and techniques.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Clean and valid driver's license.
