About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Betty Blocks plays a crucial role in the initial stages of the sales process, focusing on generating and qualifying leads for the innovative Betty Blocks platform. The primary objective of this position is to make application development accessible to everyone within an enterprise, enabling individuals to create applications that address their unique challenges. As an SDR, you will engage in desk research to analyze various markets and devise strategies to identify potential leads. This involves collaborating closely with an Account Executive (AE) and the Marketing team to design and implement lead generation campaigns tailored to specific industries. In your day-to-day activities, you will proactively reach out to potential customers, referred to as prospects, through various channels including phone calls, LinkedIn, and email. Your goal is to schedule meetings and conduct initial touchpoints to better understand their needs and guide them through the sales funnel. After qualifying leads, you will arrange follow-up meetings, which may include presentations, demos, or workshops, to further engage prospects. Given the lengthy sales cycles, you will maintain multiple interactions with prospects, fostering relationships that will ultimately lead to successful sales outcomes. Throughout this process, you will work closely with the AE, sharing responsibility for achieving sales targets and ensuring a seamless transition from lead generation to deal closure.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads interested in the Betty Blocks platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 1 year of sales experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze markets and develop effective lead generation strategies.
