About the position

As an outbound Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in representing the company and creating a positive first impression for new prospects. This position requires you to become a product expert, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the value of the products to potential clients. Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with a diverse range of business contacts, including C-Suite executives, business owners, and senior leaders. You will be responsible for cold calling and prospecting leads, maintaining communication with warm prospects to understand their purchasing motivations, and partnering with experienced Account Executives to fill their sales pipeline. As you develop your expertise in the product, you will learn effective strategies to communicate its value and benefits clearly. To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate superior customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and a knack for problem-solving. You will be expected to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a flexible attitude and a proven track record of hitting targets and exceeding expectations. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency in various software applications, including Word, Excel, and CRM systems, is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with new business contacts, including C-Suite Executives and Senior Leaders.
  • Cold call and prospect for leads to identify potential clients.
  • Maintain communication with warm prospects to understand their purchasing motivations.
  • Partner with Account Executives to fill their sales pipeline.
  • Become a product expert and learn strategies to communicate product value effectively.
  • Increase product knowledge by collaborating with Training Specialists and Product Development teams.
  • Clearly communicate business decision drivers, costs, and benefits to showcase the product as a strategic advantage.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the state of Florida.
  • Ability to work remotely from a secured location.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRMs.
  • Strong over-the-phone communication and online presentation skills.
  • Ability to advocate for customers and build rapport to identify their needs.
  • Desire to think creatively and use problem-solving skills for customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • One to three years of B2B experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or customer-centric roles.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience using social media for prospecting and lead generation.
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM, SalesLoft, Drift, and LinkedIn.
  • Security and Compliance background in Sales.
