About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at CivicPlus is a hybrid role focused on driving sales opportunities through targeted outreach to government agencies. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start or advance their careers in tech sales, with a clear growth path from SDR to Account Executive or similar roles within 12-18 months. The SDR will work collaboratively within a competitive yet supportive team environment, making outbound calls and emails to generate leads and book meetings for the Account Executive team.

Responsibilities

  • Targeted outbound cold calling to government agencies to drive opportunities for the Account Executive team.
  • Manage a pipeline of target prospects and learn to analyze and diagnose KPIs to drive performance efficiency.
  • Consistently achieve monthly qualified meeting quota.
  • Make 50 outbound calls and 20 emails daily to target prospects for the products your team is focused on and book meetings for Account Executives.
  • Participate in morning huddles, call reviews, and team syncs for collaboration and support.
  • Engage in 1:1 weekly syncs with your manager for individual coaching sessions.

Requirements

  • 1 year of sales experience
  • Entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or those changing careers.
