About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) position at Finastra focuses on demand generation within the Retail Lending banking sales division. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual looking to advance their sales career in a leading financial services software organization. The SDR will engage with new and existing clients, manage demand generation targets, and utilize various tools to enhance process efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Executing calling campaigns to target opportunities within new and existing client base.
  • Owning and managing demand generation targets, forecast and performance.
  • Identifying customer needs and mapping the right solutions to their needs for both new name and cross sell opportunities.
  • Managing customer expectations and effectively communicating change internally/externally.
  • Proactively reaching out to internal stakeholders to build and strengthen existing and new relationships.
  • Encouraging communications among others to increase overall business effectiveness.
  • Using tools and technologies to improve process efficiency and regularly reviewing and updating CRM.
  • Exercising independent judgment in day-to-day activities and client conversations.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience within sales, sales support, business development, or within a call center (inbound or outbound) highly preferred, but not required.
  • Strong tenacity and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of financial institutions' internal operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred.
