About the position

Working as a Sales Development Representative at Michael Page, you will own a role which is varied, stimulating, and challenging on a daily basis. This career will further develop your interpersonal and commercial skills, giving you real opportunity for personal and professional growth. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for 'hunting' new business opportunities and lead generation. You will manage the process from interview through offer stage and close of sale, while also managing your own portfolio of candidates and clients, both existing and new. Your role will involve searching, sourcing, and screening potential candidates, utilizing multiple online resources. You will build close partnerships with clients and help their business grow by developing and delivering the best solutions for attracting candidates. Conducting in-person interviews to thoroughly evaluate candidates will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will mentor and develop entry-level sales consultants across the office and have an involvement in the proposal process by developing and pitching proposals. Negotiating commercial terms of business and rates will be part of your daily tasks as well.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a recruitment or business development role.
  • Prospecting experience is required.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and sales tools (Zoominfo, LinkedIn recruiter, job boards etc.).
  • Excellent written communication skills, articulate as well as a strong note-taker and listener.
  • A positive attitude and desire to win, thriving on challenges and having a proven history of consistently achieving quotas or objectives.
  • Driven by a desire to achieve meaningful and measurable results, develop as a sales professional.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
