About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at DocuSign is responsible for making outbound calls to potential clients who have shown interest in the company's offerings. This role focuses on qualifying leads through targeted questions and aligning them with DocuSign's product solutions. The SDR spends approximately 80% of their time prospecting new clients and is expected to schedule appointments for Account Executives. This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain experience in a rapidly growing SaaS company.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospects who have expressed interest in learning more about DocuSign.
  • Qualify prospective customers through targeted questions about their business strategy.
  • Share information about DocuSign and inquire about the prospect's business intentions.
  • Discern propensity to buy and forward good potential leads to the Sales Account Executives.
  • Schedule appointments between prospects and Account Executives.
  • Record prospect information in the CRM database.

Requirements

  • A university degree or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Prior experience working in sales (preferred).
  • A driven, enthusiastic, and hard-working nature.
  • The ability to form strong business relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
