About the position

As an Entry-Level Sales Development Representative (SDR) at DXP, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by reaching out to potential customers and introducing them to our product line. This position involves making a high volume of outbound calls to generate leads, build relationships, and qualify opportunities for the sales team. The role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Make 50-100 outbound phone calls per day to engage prospects.
  • Research and identify potential leads within target industries.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients through excellent communication.
  • Qualify leads based on specific criteria and schedule appointments for the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions in the CRM.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive growth.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sales and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and goal oriented.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle rejection with professionalism.
