About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will spearhead the initial sales efforts for BrainChip Inc. in the US, focusing on building the opportunity pipeline, nurturing customer relationships, and initiating new engagements. This role is integral to the sales team, reporting directly to the VP of Global Sales and based at the Laguna Hills headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the Exploration phase of the sales process to advance discussions into technical evaluations.
  • Establish and maintain valued relationships with key SOC customers, understanding their needs and exploring tailored IP solutions.
  • Implement sales strategies and initiatives to maximize IP contract revenue and market awareness.
  • Manage and maintain the sales CRM and lead capture systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information and lead data.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet sales targets and increase BrainChip's IP adoption in the US market.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with marketing and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market needs and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop an understanding of BrainChip's product portfolio and technological advancements to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors' activities to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Focus on generating a defined set of new opportunities within the first year of employment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales within the semiconductor or technology industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and semiconductor ecosystems is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and sales processes effectively.

  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Experience with managing sales CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify market trends, forecast sales, and develop engagement plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Experience in managing sales projects and coordinating with multiple stakeholders is a plus.
  • Prior experience managing the sale of IP Licenses, Contracts, and Royalty arrangements is a plus.
