About the position

Fastly is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team in Denver, CO. As a key player in our sales organization, you will be instrumental in driving Fastly's top-line revenue growth by uncovering, sourcing, educating, nurturing, and developing sales leads into qualified opportunities from key accounts. This role is perfect for individuals looking to break into tech sales, as we provide an extensive onboarding program to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities and building relationships with prospects, leveraging your experience to make a significant impact on our customer base. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a metrics-driven culture, is curious about customer needs, and is eager to learn and grow within the B2B software sales environment. This position will be based in our Denver office, requiring in-person attendance three days a week, and offers a hybrid work model that allows for flexibility between the office and home.

Responsibilities

  • Research and prospect into Target Accounts
  • Call, email & leverage LinkedIn for strategic outreach
  • Utilize lead generation tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LeadIQ
  • Act as a collaborative strategic partner to Account Executives
  • Exceed specific daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline metrics to help achieve sales goals

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in a metrics-driven culture
  • Curiosity and desire to meet a customer's unarticulated and unmet needs
  • Demonstrate an insatiable desire to learn and improve
  • Adaptable, professional, courteous, and motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to proactively resolve problems in a timely manner and develop alternative solutions
  • Understanding of customer requirements and identification of business challenges that Fastly can solve
  • Desire to work hard, exceed expectations, and outperform quotas
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Background in MEDDPPICC and Command of the Message
