About the position

At Eccovia, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a foundational member of a collaborative Sales Team. SDRs are responsible for identifying potential customers and generating new opportunities for the company. In this position, you will identify key decision makers to understand their pain points, vision, goals, and strategic objectives. As an SDR, you will develop a lead pipeline through direct outreach and qualifying inbound leads. Often, the SDR will be the first contact potential clients have with Eccovia. As the ideal candidate, you will use your professional appearance, engaging demeanor, entrepreneurial mindset, and effective communication skills to present our solutions in a compelling way. In this role, you will identify, qualify, and develop a dynamic lead pipeline in the Health and Human Services sector, converting your lead pipeline into new sales opportunities. You will develop verticalized knowledge in the Health and Human Services sector and work with the sales and marketing teams to define and execute both inbound and outbound lead generation strategies. Additionally, you will work opportunistically to leverage partnerships and industry networks to source new prospects. You will also be responsible for maintaining all activity with contacts, leads, and opportunities in the company's CRM, HubSpot, and will report directly to the sales manager with weekly and monthly results.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and develop a dynamic lead pipeline in the Health and Human Services sector.
  • Convert your lead pipeline into new sales opportunities.

  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to define and execute both inbound and outbound lead generation strategies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of software/SaaS sales experience (Health and Human Services or local and/or state government a plus) with a track record of exceeding lead generation targets.
  • Strong communication skills via phone, email, and Teams.
  • Exposure and experience with software selling strategies, methodologies, and processes.
  • Self-starter who can pragmatically seek opportunities.
  • Strong collaborative skills with sound business acumen.
  • Works well in a team environment with business deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and video conferencing technology.
