About the position

The Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) position at Confidant Recruiting is a full-time role focused on driving new business acquisitions for a leading online marketplace for legal services. This company attracts approximately 8 million visitors each month and is seeking a motivated individual to join their sales team. As a Senior SDR, you will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, which includes acquiring new accounts, qualifying leads, conducting marketing consultations, and closing sales. This role is ideal for individuals currently working as Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) or Business Development Representatives (BDRs) who are looking to transition into a full sales cycle position where they can close their own deals. In this position, you will consult with attorneys and legal practices about the company's industry-leading online marketing and advertising services tailored specifically for the legal sector. Your efforts will play a critical role in expanding the company's market presence and driving new business growth. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience in digital marketing, online advertising, or Software as a Service (SaaS), but the company is also open to candidates from complementary sales roles who are eager to break into tech sales. The Senior SDR will be expected to maintain and manage a portfolio of clients, developing strong relationships, addressing concerns, and ensuring timely resolution of issues. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new accounts through outbound calling.
  • Qualify leads from marketing efforts directed at existing clients.
  • Conduct daily marketing consultations via phone/video to identify and match marketing opportunities with the best level of service for each client.
  • Manage the full sales cycle by presenting and educating prospects regarding the company's advertising solutions and other products, managing negotiations, and closing sales.
  • Maintain and manage a portfolio of clients, developing strong relationships, addressing concerns, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of B2B Inside Sales experience (prospecting, generating proposals, carrying a quota) with an emphasis on consecutive selling, preferably in SaaS or related services.
  • Prior experience as a SDR with no closing experience is great - we will train the right candidates.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management software, and a working knowledge of Google Suite is a plus.
  • Fearless, coachable, competitive individuals with a positive attitude and an appetite for growth and responsibility are highly valued.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in digital marketing or online advertising sales.
