About the position

This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates who live in Iowa. We are seeking highly motivated, high energy Sales Development Representatives looking to advance their career. The SDR is tasked with identifying and generating inbound and outbound sales opportunities as well as working within a team environment to help move sales opportunities forward with their respective regions to include Sales Executives, Relationship Managers, and Regional Vice Presidents. It is critical that they are willing to think outside of the box and be highly self-motivated. The essential functions of the role include making outbound sales calls, with an expectation of 60+ calls daily, following up on leads generated through marketing activity, and developing prospects into candidates by effectively communicating the value proposition tailored to their needs. The SDR will qualify and identify prospect needs by leveraging key contacts and determining the organization's decision-making/buying process. They will also identify high potential prospects and transition qualified leads to sales executives for further follow-up. Effectively utilizing the lead qualification process and documenting sales information in the CRM system is crucial. Additionally, maintaining weekly reports for management on customer communication progress is expected. The role operates under general supervision, but a high degree of initiative and creativity are required and encouraged.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of proven inside sales or phone support/sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.
  • Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CRM Software preferred (HubSpot).
