About the position

Direct Agents is seeking an ambitious Sales Development Representative to join our business development team. The ideal candidate is bursting with energy and enthusiasm and has an unrelenting drive to break records, grow their own book of business, and advance their career and earnings in a fast-paced environment. This role involves thorough market research to identify target industries and companies that can benefit from Direct Agents' services. The Sales Development Representative will utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator to search for and engage with new business opportunities within the digital marketing sector, identifying and reaching out to appropriate Marketing Executives within target companies. The responsibilities include crafting and sending personalized outreach emails and messages to potential clients, securing introductory calls with identified Marketing Executives to discuss potential collaborations, and collaborating with the sales team to transition qualified leads for further nurturing and closing. The representative will also follow through with each lead by creating proposals, keeping the pipeline organized, and assisting in pushing deals through to close. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and insights is crucial to better identify potential clients and understand their needs. The role also requires attending and actively participating in conferences and industry events to enhance industry knowledge and Direct Agents' visibility while networking with potential clients. In terms of reporting and organization, the Sales Development Representative will efficiently manage and track leads using Pipedrive CRM, ensuring that all relevant data is up-to-date and organized. They will maintain a structured pipeline of opportunities within Pipedrive, ensuring accurate recording of statuses and details, and provide detailed weekly reports on lead generation metrics using advanced analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify target industries and companies that can benefit from Direct Agents' services.

  • Identify and reach out to appropriate Marketing Executives within target companies.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of professional experience in sales or marketing, demonstrating the ability to connect with clients and drive results.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales outreach tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
  • Experience in digital media or technology sales is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for establishing trust and understanding client needs.
