About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Active Network, a division of Global Payments, is responsible for generating and qualifying leads to support the sales team. This role is crucial in the sales process, focusing on identifying potential customers, initiating contact, and nurturing relationships to create opportunities for the sales team. SDRs engage with prospects through various outreach methods, ensuring the sales team concentrates on high-quality leads, ultimately driving increased conversion rates and revenue for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively reach out to prospects via telephone to identify key decision-makers.
  • Qualify leads and guide them through the sales pipeline with precision and expertise.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and account qualification at all prospect levels.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients to enhance client relationships.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations throughout the sales cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
