About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Finastra is a dynamic opportunity within the Retail Lending banking sales division. This position focuses on demand generation, targeting both new and existing clients to drive sales growth. The SDR will engage in calling campaigns, manage demand generation targets, and identify customer needs to provide tailored solutions. The role requires proactive communication and relationship-building with internal stakeholders and clients, emphasizing independent judgment and strategic insights.

Responsibilities

  • Executing calling campaigns to target opportunities within new and existing client base.
  • Owning and managing demand generation targets, forecast and performance.
  • Identifying customer needs and mapping the right solutions to their needs for both new name and cross sell opportunities.
  • Managing customer expectations and effectively communicating change internally/externally.
  • Proactively reaching out to internal stakeholders to build and strengthen existing and new relationships.
  • Encouraging communications among others to increase overall business effectiveness.
  • Using tools and technologies to improve process efficiency and regularly reviewing and updating CRM.
  • Exercising independent judgment in day-to-day activities and client conversations.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience within sales, sales support, business development or within a call center (inbound or outbound) highly preferred, but not required.
  • Strong tenacity and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of financial institutions internal operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • High school diploma or GED, bachelor's, or associate's degree preferred.
