About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Benefeature is crucial for driving sales efforts and establishing strong relationships with clients in the insurance industry. This entry-level position focuses on generating new business opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the sales team in achieving targets. The SDR will engage in prospecting, product demonstrations, and pipeline management while collaborating with various departments to enhance client onboarding and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify potential clients within the insurance industry through research, cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and other lead generation strategies.
  • Conduct engaging product demos tailored to the specific needs of prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our Insurance SaaS solution.
  • Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately tracking all sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts using our CRM system.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market demands, providing feedback to the product development and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new clients and facilitate ongoing customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a consistent basis.
  • Work closely with the sales team, marketing, and other departments to share insights, strategies, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in insurance industry practices, processes, and challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, and influence key decision-makers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving market conditions.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
