About the position

As a Sales Development Representative at MarketStar, you will play a crucial role in advancing your sales career while representing a leader in the technology industry. This position offers a remote work option, allowing you to work flexibly while contributing to the success of our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to assess and recommend new up-and-coming accounts for coverage to our inside sales team. You will also identify and collaborate with Channel Partners that have significant potential to grow sales for Netgear products. Additionally, you will assist potential Channel Partners in navigating the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition into our sales ecosystem. In this role, you will engage with reseller partners to develop a sales and support-focused relationship, helping to progress channel partners through our Sales Enablement pathway. This pathway is designed to foster strong relationships and increase revenue for both MarketStar and our partners. Collaboration with the ITAM on our team will be essential as you identify and nurture target channel partners. You will also be responsible for training potential partners on the benefits of partnering with Netgear, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in their sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, able to adjust to new situations, and escalate issues quickly for resolution. Responsibilities

  • Engage with reseller partners to develop a sales and support focused relationship

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication with an outstanding telephone presence
  • Engaging and personable with the ability to easily develop relationships of influence
  • A passion for sales with proven success in sales attainment
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to track and complete multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with the ability to excel in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce or other CRM
  • Understanding of channel sales and distribution is helpful
