About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at our Racking Company involves generating new leads, qualifying prospects, and setting appointments for the sales team. This position is crucial for driving sales and improving storage solutions for businesses. The SDR will work closely with the sales team to align strategies and contribute to overall sales goals, while also managing interactions with potential clients through various communication methods.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients in various industries needing pallet racking solutions.
  • Initiate contact with prospects through cold calls to introduce our products and services, effectively conveying value and generating interest.
  • Craft and send engaging cold emails to potential clients, highlighting our solutions and encouraging responses.
  • Assess the needs of potential customers to determine if our solutions are a good fit.
  • Schedule meetings between prospects and sales representatives to discuss specific solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions with leads in our CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.
  • Work closely with the sales team to align on strategies and contribute to achieving overall sales goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in sales, telemarketing, or lead generation is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $43,000 per year.
  • Commission: 2.5% on total sales generated.
  • Flat Fee: $150 for each closed deal.
  • Bonus opportunities.
