About the position

The Sales Development Representative at Impact Networking is a crucial role focused on identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. This position is designed for aspiring sales professionals who will work closely with outbound leads to understand their needs and connect them with appropriate solutions. The role emphasizes relationship building, effective communication, and achieving sales targets within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Guide Leads to Success: Navigate qualified leads through the sales pipeline, connecting them with Account Managers and orchestrating introductory meetings.
  • Prospect Nurturing: Cultivate relationships with new prospects through strategic phone calls, targeted emails, and sales sequencing tools.
  • Meeting Milestones: Achieve monthly targets by setting up 10-15 successful sales meetings each month.
  • Prospecting Mastery: Proactively contact 40-60 prospects per day or more.
  • Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify pain points and demonstrate how Impact's solutions can address these challenges.
  • Budget Insights: Collaborate with decision-makers to determine budgetary constraints, project timelines, and business requirements.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and nurture lasting prospect relationships through timely communications and consistent follow-ups.
  • CRM Management: Efficiently manage client data in the sales CRM system, ensuring accurate logging of interactions and scheduling follow-ups.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: College degree preferred.
  • Strong communication skills are a must.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Collaborates effectively as part of a team and takes initiative when necessary.
  • Driven by a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in Business Development, Sales Development Representative roles, or similar positions is a plus.
