About the position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Fitch Solutions, you will play a crucial role in expanding our sales pipeline. This position is based in our New York office and involves identifying and qualifying potential customers primarily within the financial services sector, which includes fintechs, banks, lenders, and payments companies. Your efforts will be instrumental in setting the stage for our Account Executives to successfully close deals by thoroughly understanding customer needs and effectively showcasing the value of our offerings. In this role, you will engage with potential clients through various channels such as email, phone, and social media. You will collaborate closely with the SDR Manager and Go-To-Market (GTM) leaders to align on pipeline strategies, ensuring that our outreach efforts are targeted and effective. Additionally, you will work alongside the marketing team to develop compelling outbound messaging and campaigns that resonate with our audience. Maintaining accurate and detailed information on leads in our CRM software is essential, as is ensuring smooth handoffs and feedback loops with Account Executives for qualified opportunities. Continuous learning and adaptation are key components of this role, as you will be expected to learn new skills, test innovative prospecting approaches, and contribute to lead generation efforts for both in-person and digital events. Furthermore, you will analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform and refine your outreach strategies, ensuring that you remain competitive in a dynamic market.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in sales development or a related role.
  • Proven track record in generating and qualifying leads.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and lead generation techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tools is a plus.
