About the position

CentiMark Corporation is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Development Representative for our Seattle, WA location. This entry-level position is designed as a minimum two-year program, with the ultimate goal of transitioning the candidate into a sales role within the company. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic relationship builder, someone who thrives on making and maintaining social connections. This role is perfect for individuals who wake up each day with optimism and a passion for connecting with influential people. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of representing CentiMark at various networking, community, and charity events, acting as the eyes and ears of the company to generate new business opportunities for our salesforce to nurture. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and reaching out to targeted potential clients, marketing CentiMark's features, benefits, and success stories through platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and X (Twitter). You will set appointments for introduction meetings, organize customer and business development events for the Northwest Region, and follow up on old and existing proposals with clients and prospects. Additionally, you will research market dynamics and industries to help form effective business development programs and get involved in appropriate networking organizations to communicate our unique service offerings. Participation in select trade shows that align with our customer profile will also be part of your responsibilities. You will work closely with various Regional Sales staff, cross-coordinate business development with other CentiMark Sales Teams, and strive to attain monthly activity goals set by Regional Sales Management. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn and gain proficiency in all responsibilities associated with a Regional Sales role.

Responsibilities

  • Research and call on targeted potential clients
  • Market CentiMark's features, benefits, and success stories through platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and X (Twitter)
  • Call to set appointments for introduction meetings
  • Organize customer and business development events for each office in the Northwest Region
  • Follow up on old as well as existing proposals with clients and prospects
  • Research market dynamics and industries to help form effective business development programs
  • Join and get involved in appropriate networking organizations such as BOMA, NAIOP, IFMA, Hospital Engineering, etc.
  • Organize and participate in select trade shows that fit our customer profile
  • Perform joint calls with various Regional Sales staff
  • Cross-coordinate business development with other CentiMark Sales Teams as appropriate to target and develop mutual opportunities/Customers
  • Attain monthly activity goals set by Regional Sales Management
  • Learn and gain proficiency in all responsibilities associated with a Regional Sales role

Requirements

  • Sales or marketing experience - preferred
  • Experience in roofing or construction preferred
  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business or related field - highly preferred
  • Good relationship building skills
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Must show a positive work ethic and the ability to work within a team environment
  • Must be well organized with solid time management skills
  • Strong communication & writing skills
  • Current & valid Driver's License
