About the position

The Sales Development Representative at Motorola Solutions plays a crucial role in driving sales growth by prospecting new business opportunities and developing relationships with key decision-makers. This position requires a customer-focused individual who is passionate about sales development and efficient in their approach. The representative will work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed sales objectives while utilizing CRM tools to track and report on account activity.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new business to develop relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Understand and respond to customer needs effectively.
  • Track and report on account activity using Salesforce.com.
  • Identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists and individual research.
  • Qualify all existing leads in Salesforce.com and other lead databases.
  • Coordinate, promote, and lead webinars in the assigned region.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives for the assigned territory.
  • Perform inbound and outbound calls to identify sales opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed daily call and activity metrics.
  • Align with other sales organization members to support overall company revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 6+ months of sales experience.
  • Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work with people with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of technology sales, particularly in video surveillance/security technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Six months to one year of experience within an inside sales organization.
  • Preferred experience with technology sales.
  • Preferred previous experience in a sales development role.
