About the position

The Sales Development Representative at Greenspot is responsible for actively seeking new business prospects and qualifying leads to support the deployment of EV charging infrastructure. This role involves engaging with potential customers, understanding their requirements, and presenting Greenspot's solutions to generate leads for the sales team. The position is entry-level and requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and CRM.
  • Contact potential prospects through cold calls and emails.
  • Enter new prospects data in CRM.
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospects and the Sales team.
  • Present the company to potential prospects.
  • Proactively seek new prospects in the market using online resources.
  • Report to the Manager on sales results.
  • Meet daily call quotas of calls, emails, and sourcing efforts.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
  • A 'can do' approach and ability to learn and follow procedures.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience working with Google and Microsoft Suites (Gmail, Word, Excel, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with a CRM.
  • Experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing, and social outreach.
