About the position

In this role at Pushpay, you will serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, embodying the company's values of passion, professionalism, and approachability. You will be working in a call center environment that is metric-driven, where your performance will be constantly monitored to ensure that you meet the established targets. Your daily tasks will include making a minimum of 75 cold calls, sending emails, and utilizing text messaging to qualify leads for the Pushpay platform. You will also be responsible for scheduling appointments between prospects and Account Executives, aiming for 1-2 appointments per day. The role involves facing rejection frequently, as you may encounter prospects who are not interested, hang up, or respond rudely. However, the goal is to have meaningful conversations that help you understand the challenges faced by these organizations and communicate how Pushpay can provide solutions. You will leverage best-in-class software tools like Salesforce and Outreach to manage your prospect pipeline effectively. Collaboration with a team of like-minded individuals will be essential as you work together to achieve collective targets. The position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, emphasizing the need for resilience and a positive attitude in both team interactions and customer engagements. Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls, emails, and text messages to qualify churches and nonprofits for the Pushpay platform.
  • Achieve a minimum of 75 cold outbound calls to potential customers each day.
  • Schedule 1-2 appointments per day between prospects and Account Executives.
  • Engage in meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their challenges and how Pushpay can assist them.
  • Utilize software like Salesforce and Outreach to build and manage your prospect pipeline.
  • Collaborate with a team to achieve sales targets.
  • Adapt to a call center environment that is metric-driven and involves constant performance monitoring.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of inside sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in a fast-paced phone environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; BS/BA preferred.
  • Excellent phone communication skills, courteous and well-spoken.
  • Ability to connect business needs to solutions effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Mac OSX and Google Platforms; experience with Salesforce and Outreach is a plus.
  • Demonstrated positivity and resilience in team and customer interactions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
