About the position

In this position, your primary responsibility will be to generate qualified leads for our inside and outside sales team. This role is crucial in establishing connections with potential customers and nurturing those leads through the sales pipeline. You will be expected to identify and connect with prospects to generate new business opportunities, ensuring that the sales team has a steady flow of qualified leads to pursue. You will contact and qualify potential customers through various communication channels, including email, phone, LinkedIn, and video conferencing. Your ability to foster leads through the sales pipeline will be essential, as you will set appointments and visits for both the outside and inside sales teams. Following up with leads as determined by the team leader will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Tracking all activity leading up to meetings is vital, as is collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for reaching targets. You will utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and track sales activities, reporting on your sales activities and results to your team lead. This position requires a proactive approach and a strong commitment to achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and connect with prospects to generate new business opportunities

Requirements

  • Successful candidates will have a college degree, or previous experience in Sales Development roles
  • Computer literacy skills with Salesforce or similar CRM experience a plus
  • Effective communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability and willingness to follow instructions and directions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Articulate and fluent in the English language
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong understanding of the rules of composition and grammar
