About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Sokolin, LLC is responsible for achieving strategic sales objectives by building strong customer relationships and maximizing customer satisfaction. The role involves managing and improving relationships with both new and existing clients, supporting the Senior Wine Consulting team, and developing client management strategies to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve strategic and specific sales-related objectives.
  • Build strong 'high-touch' customer relationships while maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the Senior Wine Consulting team to achieve company-wide sales goals.
  • Manage, improve, and re-engage relationships with assigned new and existing clients.
  • Mobilize support staff to maintain and strengthen account relationships.
  • Grow the business while resolving issues as they arise.
  • Acquire new customers via phone and email sales, and re-establish relationships with past clients.
  • Work in a team-oriented and competitive environment to reach common goals.
  • Develop, implement, and execute client management strategies and tactics.
  • Communicate with new and existing customers to establish personal relationships.
  • Evaluate customers' past spending and buying trends to better serve them.
  • Communicate client sales trends to Senior Wine Consultant to optimize customer experience.
  • Assist Senior Wine Consulting team in offer planning and client targeting.
  • Create unique offers for personal client list to maintain client interest.
  • Prepare a long-term strategy for discovering new clients and obtaining existing customers from inactive lists.
  • Understand inventory and all items available for sale at Sokolin.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of basic sales concepts and strategies.
  • Knowledge of communications, marketing, and customer service principles.
  • Experience in any luxury industry is a plus.
  • Wine knowledge is helpful but not necessary.
  • Sales experience desired but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • High School Degree required; College Degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to present ideas and innovative thinking to the team.
  • Highly self-motivated and ambitious.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
