About the position

At BasicBlock, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in driving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. This position is designed for individuals who are comfortable making dozens of calls each day, engaging with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and ultimately closing sales. The SDR will be the first point of contact for potential customers, making it essential to understand and empathize with their needs and requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for finding new sales opportunities through both inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. You will need to meet or exceed performance metrics related to calls, emails, and sales closed, ensuring that you contribute positively to the overall sales goals of the company. Additionally, you will be expected to research the competitive landscape thoroughly and communicate our unique value proposition clearly to potential clients. Closing sales will be a key responsibility, requiring a blend of persistence, strategy, and relationship-building skills.

Requirements

  • Superb communication skills
  • Experience as a Sales Representative/Associate preferred
  • Familiar with Hubspot CRM preferred
  • BA/BSc or Associate degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred
