ESS headquartered in Tempe Arizona (US) is growing fast and we are looking for outstanding Sales Development Representatives to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to help in seeking new business opportunities by prospecting and developing relationships with potential customers. Sales Development Representatives are responsible for qualifying leads at the initial stages in the sales funnel. They must research potential clients, connect with and educate prospects and qualify leads, and set meetings and demos before handing them off to the Enterprise Account Managers. The ideal candidate is one with a hunter mentality, coupled with very strong prospecting ability, relationship-building skills, technical skillset, and a truly consultative sales approach.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through phone, emails, and social media
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings and demos between our prospects and Account Executives
  • Report to the CEO and Sales Director on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful enterprise software sales, customer success, or business development experience, building a high-velocity pipeline
  • Ability to identify, and create new leads and sales opportunities through the consistent application of discipline, rigor, and strong attention to detail
  • Ideally prior sales experience with Microsoft and a deep understanding knowledge of Microsoft's Ecosystem, including Enterprise on-premises, hybrid, and cloud software and services portfolio
  • Ability to develop executive-level (CxO) relationships, lead strategic initiatives with customers, and present ESS value propositions to C-level executives
  • Ability to work with partners to drive technical solutions to support ESS portfolio with Microsoft
  • Ability to work with marketing and sales teams to create new solutions to help increase pipeline coverage and revenue stream
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Deep fluency with Sales and automation tools like Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, Hubspot, Appolo.io, klenty
  • Understanding of Sales cadence, lead generation, and sales processes
  • Previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns, appointment settings
  • Sales qualified leads
  • Previous experiences in selling on-premise and SaaS software to SMEs in the US market, ideally Microsoft technologies software and/or Cloud services
  • Knowledge of social selling using Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, or other social channel
  • Similar assignments in a startup, BPO, or started their own business; even if it crashed and burned
  • Bachelor's Degree and MBA or equivalent experience in Marketing
