About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at NEOGOV is an entry-level position in Technical Sales, designed to provide a pathway into the sales field. The SDR will engage in lead generation activities, support Account Executives, and participate in a comprehensive training program aimed at fostering career growth within the company. This position is based in the Draper, Utah office and emphasizes a collaborative team environment focused on customer success and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Complete at least 70 dials daily and respond promptly to incoming phone calls and emails
  • Learn the company's strategy, vision, mission, values, and products
  • Support Account Executives in prospecting and building a pipeline of qualified leads
  • Set at least 1.5 product demonstrations on average per day with a show rate of 66%
  • Master the company's telephone systems, email, and other tools

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of prior sales or client-facing experience
  • Experience with Salesforce or Outreach would be an asset

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years of B2B Sales experience in a quota-driven environment
