About the position

The Sales Development Representative at TradePending LLC is responsible for generating leads and qualifying prospects within the automotive industry. This role involves conducting research to identify key decision-makers, engaging potential clients, and scheduling product demonstrations. The representative will work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of leads and maintain accurate records in the CRM system. Continuous learning and improvement in sales skills and product knowledge are also emphasized.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify and target key decision-makers within automotive dealerships and related businesses.
  • Generate new leads through high volume cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and other creative outbound strategies.
  • Engage potential clients in meaningful conversations to understand their business challenges and qualify leads.
  • Schedule product demos and meetings for Account Executives/RSMs and collaborate with the sales team for effective follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and lead interactions in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including call activity and lead conversion rates.
  • Stay informed about auto industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively communicate our value proposition.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a sales development or lead generation role, preferably within the automotive or software industry.
  • Strong communication skills to engage and build rapport with prospects over the phone and through email.
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with a high level of energy and a passion for sales.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms.
  • Ability to handle rejection and persistently pursue new opportunities.
  • A strong understanding of the automotive industry or a willingness to quickly learn.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
