About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) position at Alternative Claims Management is a remote role focused on generating leads and building relationships with potential clients. The SDR will work under the guidance of the Vice President of Sales and will be instrumental in the pipeline generation efforts for the company. The ideal candidate is a team player who can think creatively and adapt to a fast-paced environment. This role requires a consultative approach to outbound sales, where the SDR will engage with prospects to understand their needs and articulate how ACM's solutions can meet those needs. In this position, the SDR will conduct outbound prospecting through various channels, including cold calling, emailing, and social media engagement. They will research target companies and decision-makers to personalize their outreach effectively. The SDR will also be responsible for scheduling qualified meetings for the sales team and maintaining accurate records of all prospecting activities in the CRM system. Staying informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape is crucial for effectively positioning ACM's solutions in the market. This is a new and growing team, and the SDR will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of prospecting strategies and campaigns. Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential leads through cold calling, emailing, and social media engagement.
  • Research and gather information on target companies and decision-makers to personalize outreach efforts effectively.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and goals, and articulate how our solutions can address their specific requirements.
  • Schedule qualified meetings and appointments for the sales team to further discuss our offerings and convert leads into opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine prospecting strategies and campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions in the market.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Sales.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar role in a B2B environment.
  • 2+ years of Outbound SDR Experience with cold calling and emailing.
  • Prior experience in the commercial fleet industry is a plus.
  • Ability to think on your feet to creatively solve our customer's business needs.
  • Possess exceptional and persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Salesforce and a Sales engagement tool, such as Salesloft, is a huge bonus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the commercial fleet industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Sales engagement tools like Salesloft.
