About the position

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting new customers to support business growth. This role requires strong persuasion skills to convert potential customer prospects into qualified leads, utilizing social media to build relationships and engage with prospects. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service or sales and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Attend online and in-person meetings, trainings, trade shows, and sales events
  • Monitor competition and develop marketing strategies to attract potential customers
  • Prospect leads through various methods including calling, texting, emailing, and engaging at events
  • Communicate with sales leadership to achieve team goals and enhance operations
  • Develop strategies for utilizing social media platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn to find prospects

Requirements

  • Previous customer service experience is highly desired
  • Stellar communication, presentation, persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiating skills
  • High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred
  • Understanding of the sales process and experience with client databases is desired
  • Organized, detail-oriented self-starter who contributes to team goals
