About the position

DataSeers is an Atlanta-based FinTech that has developed a comprehensive solution to assist other FinTech companies and banks in addressing complex operational issues related to Digital Onboarding, Reconciliation, Compliance, Fraud, and Business Insights. The DataSeers solution leverages complex structured and unstructured data to provide a centralized view of all transactions, thereby enhancing organizational efficiency and compliance. Over the past year, DataSeers has experienced significant growth, driven by our clients and the increasing popularity of our product, FinanSeer. As a Sales Development Representative, you will collaborate closely with our Director of Business Development. Your primary role will involve generating leads, initiating conversations with potential clients, and setting up meetings for further discussions. This position presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our company in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be responsible for cold calling, emailing, and utilizing social media to reach out to potential clients, qualifying leads through strategic questioning, and understanding their business needs and challenges to determine if our solutions are a good fit. In addition to lead generation, you will manage and prioritize leads effectively, track progress through the sales pipeline, and provide regular updates to management. You will also prepare reports and dashboards to monitor progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement. Occasionally, you may attend events to network and represent the company. This role is essential in driving the success of our sales efforts and ensuring that we meet our growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach to generate leads and initiate conversations with potential clients.
  • Qualifying leads through strategic questioning and listening to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars.
  • Managing and prioritizing leads effectively, tracking progress through the sales pipeline, and providing regular updates to management.
  • Preparing regular reports and dashboards to track progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Occasionally attending events to network and represent the company.
  • Performing other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge or experience in FinTech or banking is preferred.
  • Experience working with a CRM system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Superb critical thinking, problem-solving, research, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines with little supervision.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.

Nice-to-haves

  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
