About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Frontline Education plays a crucial role in driving pipeline growth for the sales team by engaging with K-12 school districts. This hybrid position involves researching and contacting prospects to qualify leads and position Frontline's software solutions effectively. The SDR will work closely with the Sales Development Manager and Education Software Solution Sales Executives to influence the buying decision process and nurture leads in the pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Research and contact targeted prospects over the phone to qualify and position Frontline software products and services.
  • Partner with prospects in School Districts to influence the beginning of the buying decision process.
  • Qualify inbound leads and generate new leads by contacting prospects and scheduling follow-up appointments with Education Software Solution Sales Executives.
  • Track all activity in the CRM (NetSuite and Salesforce), managing data and generating detailed reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a role with cold calling, outbound customer contact, lead generation, and qualifying prospects.
  • Experience in a technology environment is a plus.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid writing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to strategically research, plan sales call activity and execute follow-up with prospects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with web-based applications and programs to effectively manage pipeline in the CRM tool.
  • Experience in a fast-paced and rapidly growing team environment.
