The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Henry Schein is a pivotal role responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating sales leads for the company's business solutions and services. This position supports the Account Executive representatives by promoting awareness and soliciting attendance for the bi-annual Business of Dentistry (BDC) conference. The SDR will primarily generate leads through outbound telesales efforts, targeting Henry Schein One customers who are not currently utilizing all available software solutions. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, with targeted customer lists provided by Sales Management and Marketing to enhance self-generated efforts. In this role, the SDR will spend approximately six hours each workday generating sales-qualified leads from marketing inquiries directed to the Henry Schein One sales teams. Additionally, two hours will be dedicated to covering inbound sales inquiries. The SDR will engage with customers who are not currently using the company's business solutions and services, ensuring that all leads and opportunities are updated and maintained in Salesforce, including tracking sales stages and next assigned task dates until they are handed over to a sales specialist or account executive. The position demands a high level of activity, with expectations of making a minimum of 50-80 outbound calls per day, aiming to hold at least 10 meaningful conversations and generate a minimum of five scheduled opportunities for Account Executives each day. The SDR will also participate in special projects, such as events or lead registrations from partners, and will be responsible for adhering to company standards regarding the quality and quantity of work performed, as well as compliance with all company policies and procedures.
