The work we do is significant and impactful. The Sales Development Representative plays a crucial role in our North American Government Sales organization. This position is responsible for following up on leads and building a robust pipeline for our sales team. As a representative of Motorola Solutions' comprehensive suite of safety products, the Sales Development Representative will engage with potential customers to help them understand the value of our solutions and how they can assist in their mission of "Solving for Safer." In this role, you will be a key contributor in a rapidly growing company, representing products that have a meaningful impact on people's lives. You will run call cadences using an automated dialer to educate future customers about our solutions, ask targeted questions to build rapport, and identify opportunities. Collaboration with seasoned sales professionals will be essential as you work to develop key stakeholder interest and clarify the needs of various organizations. Additionally, you will re-engage lapsed leads and update records in our CRM system to ensure accurate tracking of interactions and progress.

Responsibilities

  • Run call cadences using an automated dialer to educate potential customers on the value of our solutions and drive interest in initial conversations.
  • Ask smart, targeted questions to build rapport with prospects and identify opportunities.
  • Focus on a targeted outbound list to maximize outreach effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with seasoned sales professionals within your territory to find, develop, and build key stakeholder interest.
  • Re-engage lapsed and long-term leads as new product features are introduced, aiming to bring them back into the sales funnel.
  • Record prospect interactions and update records within our CRM system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 1+ years of sales/customer service experience.
  • Ability to articulate value propositions via phone, video, email, and social networking platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional meeting/activity notes and effective task and time management skills.
  • Highly motivated, passionate, and results-driven individual.
  • Willingness to contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
