In this sales quota-bearing position, the representative will manage the entire sales process for small to midsize opportunities. This includes identifying and qualifying prospective customers, conducting research to select targets within the assigned territory, and developing marketing campaigns. The representative will also be responsible for outbound sales activities, including cold calling and emailing, as well as following up on inbound sales inquiries. Presenting the Bigbelly product to leads via web conferencing is a key aspect of the role, requiring the ability to effectively communicate the value of the product and address customer pain points. Success in this position hinges on the ability to build interest with potential customers, leading them to agree to a sales presentation. Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify prospective customers and record sales prospecting activity in computer-based tracking systems.
  • Research into assigned territory to select targets.
  • Develop, implement, and follow up on marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct outbound sales cold calling and emailing.
  • Follow up on inbound sales inquiries.
  • Present the Bigbelly product to leads via web conferencing platform.
  • Source contacts for key players within the target region.
  • Manage the sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with cold calling preferred.
  • Experience giving presentations preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team setting.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com.
