About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a crucial role in driving growth for the company by identifying and nurturing potential leads, setting up qualified meetings for the sales team, and contributing to the overall sales strategy. This position is ideal for motivated individuals with an interest in cybersecurity and a desire to develop a career in tech sales.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential customers through various channels including social media, online databases, and industry events.
  • Conduct targeted outbound communications (calls, emails, social media) to engage with prospects and qualify leads.
  • Assess and qualify inbound leads to ensure they are a good fit for our products and services.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective strategies for lead generation and qualification.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activities and interactions in our CRM system.
  • Provide insights and feedback to the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and improve lead generation processes.

Requirements

  • 6-18 months of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in the software or cyber security industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident, professional phone presence.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools (experience with Salesforce is a plus).
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
