About the position

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at StorageDefender, you will play a key role in driving sales growth by identifying and qualifying leads. The SDR is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with prospects, and scheduling meetings for the sales team. This position is part-time and offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. You will be working closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads to the sales team for further development. Your primary focus will be on lead generation through various methods, including outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach. You will also engage with customers to understand their storage needs and provide them with relevant information about StorageDefender's products and services. Keeping accurate records of leads and customer interactions in the CRM system will be essential to your role. Additionally, you will conduct regular follow-ups with leads to maintain their interest and stay informed about industry trends and competitors to effectively position StorageDefender's offerings. Meeting or exceeding individual and team targets for lead generation and prospecting will be a key performance indicator for your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Use various methods, including outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach, to identify and qualify leads.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects, understanding their storage needs and providing relevant information about StorageDefender's products and services.

Requirements

  • Completed or In Progress Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Enjoys collaboration and teamwork.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
