About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at EmPower Solar plays a crucial role in initiating the customer experience for homeowners interested in solar energy solutions. This position involves educating potential customers about solar benefits, qualifying leads, and scheduling consultations with sales professionals. The SDR is the first point of contact for customers, representing the company's mission to promote clean, renewable energy and contributing to the growth of the solar industry in New York.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly qualify and build rapport with each new customer
  • Educate others about the benefits of solar power
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales appointment goals
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly touchpoint goals
  • Manage inbound leads using Salesforce and Calendar schedule
  • Identify new ways to increase/improve lead qualification to help increase sales
  • Ensure that all new leads are contacted and processed into a follow-up/qualification campaign

Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendars, etc.
  • 2+ References
