About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Renaissance plays a crucial role in driving new business opportunities within the education technology sector. This position focuses on engaging with educators and decision-makers in K-12 schools and districts to demonstrate the value of Renaissance's adaptive learning solutions. The SDR will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to secure meetings with inbound leads and identify new partnership opportunities through outbound prospecting. This role offers a pathway for career advancement within the Sales organization, emphasizing a collaborative and innovative approach to sales.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities by prospecting into public K12 schools and districts.
• Collaborate with the Director of Sales and the Marketing Team to secure meetings with inbound leads.
• Research and identify target schools and districts for outreach.
• Develop and execute campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
• Engage with potential customers to demonstrate the value of Renaissance's solutions.
• Work within a team to share ideas and strategies for effective sales processes.

Requirements

• A passion for a Sales career in education and willingness to be mentored.
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management.
• Effective interpersonal skills on the phone and video chat.
• Ability to think on your feet and adapt to new technology.
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm for engaging with potential customers.

Nice-to-haves

• Lead Development or Sales Development experience is a plus.
