As a Sales Development Representative, you will be on the front lines, making cold calls to potential clients to identify decision-makers, qualify sales leads, and set up appointments for Account Executives. This role not only provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable sales experience and skills but also has the potential for growth into an Account Executive position. In this role, you will be expected to uncover opportunities for Account Executives to sell innovative offerings. You will utilize various communication tools such as telephone, email, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and social media to effectively reach out to prospects. Achieving quarterly quotas will be a key performance indicator, and you will work closely with the Sales team to schedule meetings and manage leads in collaboration with the marketing department. Leveraging tools like ZoomInfo for lead and opportunity management will be essential to your success in this position. The ideal candidate for this role will possess entry-level sales experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. You should be comfortable prospecting for new business over the phone for extended periods and have the ability to build professional rapport with prospects at the Executive or C-level. Strong consulting and communication skills, confidence in client interactions, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment are critical for this role. Additionally, you should be a self-starter with good time management skills, resilience, and a natural aptitude for prospecting. Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently are also important, as is a focus on operational excellence and the ability to inspire trust and loyalty among clients.

Responsibilities

  • Make cold calls to prospects to identify decision-makers and qualify sales leads.
  • Set up appointments for Account Executives.
  • Uncover opportunities for Account Executives to sell IT Managed Services, Cloud, Cyber Security, and Voice solutions.
  • Utilize telephone, email, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and social media for outreach.
  • Achieve quarterly sales quotas.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to schedule meetings.
  • Work with marketing to manage leads and develop the sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • Entry-level sales experience.
