About the position

The Sales Development Representative at Max Home Inspections is a key role focused on driving home inspection sales through building relationships with real estate agents in the Jacksonville market. This position combines inside and outside sales responsibilities, requiring strong interpersonal skills and a passion for sales. The representative will work remotely when not in the field, contributing to the company's growth by generating referrals and maintaining existing partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships with agents through phone and electronic communications, in-person events, and social media interactions.
  • Identify and overcome obstacles.
  • Drive new business and home inspection sales through real estate agent referrals.
  • Generate, confirm, and conduct in-person meetings, events, and presentations at real estate offices.
  • Plan and execute in-house agent events.
  • Maintain strong existing business relationships through the delivery of consistent and professional electronic communications.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and support/assist other team members as needed.

Requirements

  • Sales experience, preferably in real estate or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives and goals.
  • Impeccable interpersonal communication along with verbal and written skills.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology.
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Timely responsiveness and excellent follow-through.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High-speed internet connection required.
  • Reliable vehicle required.
  • Availability during regular business hours and some pre-planned evenings for events.
  • Distraction/noise-free environment required.
  • Experience and understanding of how to work and collaborate with a remote, distributed team is preferred.
