About the position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Velocity Global is a hybrid position based in Denver, Colorado, focused on generating leads and setting up meetings for Account Executives. The SDR will engage in over 100 prospecting activities daily, including calls, emails, and social media outreach, to prequalify potential clients and facilitate the sales process. This position emphasizes building relationships, achieving sales goals, and effectively documenting interactions in Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Set up prospect meetings for Account Executives.
  • Conduct 100+ prospecting activities per day including emails, phone calls, and social media outreach.
  • Build partnership and trusting relationships with prospects.
  • Meet monthly sales goals as assigned.
  • Overcome objections from potential clients.
  • Document each call to a lead or prospect in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Sales Development Representative or Account Executive, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience with business-to-business sales over the phone for 1-2 years.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM productivity software.
  • Strong passion for technology and sales.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for outstanding performance.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  • Business acumen.
