About the position

Swipeclock is seeking a full-time Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team. This role is pivotal in converting marketing-generated leads into qualified sales opportunities. The SDR will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and set appointments for Sales Executives to conduct further discussions and product demonstrations. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing flexibility to work from home while also requiring occasional office presence.

Responsibilities

• Qualify marketing leads and set up sales calls for Sales Executives.
• Serve as the initial point of contact with targeted companies.
• Identify and properly qualify business opportunities and qualified leads.
• Present an overview of our business solution to potential customers.
• Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections.
• Make 100+ calls a day for extensive follow-up and contacting.
• Self-generate a minimum of 10% of opportunities.

Requirements

• 1-3 years' experience as a sales development representative in technology or selling complex products or services.
• Strong consultative or process background and ability to lead discussions to uncover needs and prioritize requirements.
• Commanding knowledge of value-based and solutions selling.
• Experience managing a high-volume sales pipeline through Salesforce.com.
• Experience conducting demonstrations using GoToMeeting.
• Self-starter with a solid work ethic.
• Strong verbal communications, written and presentation skills.
• BS/BA or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in enterprise sales.
• Familiarity with various industries such as Health Care, Information Technology, Construction, and Retail.
