The Aventis Sales Development Representative plays a crucial role in reestablishing and nurturing strong relationships with an assigned account base. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate the company's value proposition and offerings, with the goal of increasing market share and enhancing brand loyalty. The representative must adhere to internal processes and collaborate closely with internal teams to achieve desired outcomes. Reporting directly to the Aventis Sales Team Lead, the Sales Development Representative is expected to engage in various activities that contribute to the overall sales strategy and customer satisfaction. The primary responsibilities of this role are divided into several key areas. Approximately 70% of the time will be spent on direct outbound engagement with small to medium-sized business (SMB) accounts. This involves reestablishing and maintaining relationships with assigned accounts, leveraging previous purchases to open new business opportunities, and transitioning complex sales opportunities to the appropriate account manager or sales team lead. The representative will also engage accounts through value-based efforts designed to generate interest in the company's offerings. In addition to account engagement, the Sales Development Representative will dedicate 10% of their time to account research and planning, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of each account's business and technical challenges. Another 10% will be spent on solution design and presentation, where the representative will collaborate with pre-sales resources to build tailored solutions that meet the specific requirements of each account. Finally, 10% of the role will focus on maintaining CRM data accuracy and ensuring that all account information is up-to-date and accurately recorded in the company's systems, such as Salesforce and QuickBooks.
